Toyota Motor Corporation was founded in 1937. They are headquartered in Toyota City, Japan. The founder of Toyota was Kiichiro Toyoda. Toyoda translates into fertile rice paddies. The new logo was to commemorate their 50th Anniversary. In the new logo, the same that is used today are three ovals. They combine to form the letter T, which stands for Toyota.
