The founder of Jaguar, Sir William Lyons insisted that each Jaguar that was produced combine performance and beauty like no other. His vision created a new benchmark for luxury. Since September of 1935 when they first introduced the SS 2 1/2-litre Sports Saloon to the release of their first electric car, the I-Pace, Jaguar has been dedicated to Grace, Space, Pace. It was a mantra that ran through their veins at Jaguar.
Best known for their coupes, convertibles and sedans, most recently Jaguar has produced a crossover SUV, the F-Pace, their compact SUV, the Jaguar E-Pace and the Jaguar I-Pace, their first electric car. Jaguar has also had much success in sports car racing. After WWII, the XK120 made for a great road racer and was one of the fastest cars at that time. Jaguar won three consecutive wins with the XK120 in 1950, 1951 and 1952. Currently, Jaguar Racing competes in Formula E under the name Panasonic Jaguar Racing.
